A DAY ON RETREAT
Life at WOW Surf Camp flows with the rhythm of the ocean—dynamic, grounded, and alive. A typical day begins at sunrise, when the golden light spills over the jungle and the sound of waves stirs you from rest. You’ll start your morning with fresh tropical fruit, homemade granola, and warm bread before heading down to the beach for your first surf session of the day. With expert coaches and small group attention, whether you’re popping up for the first time or dialing in your turns, you’ll build confidence and joy with every wave.
After your surf, you’ll return to the house to rinse off, stretch, and share stories over a hearty, nourishing lunch prepared by our local chefs. The afternoons are flexible and purposeful—maybe a second surf session at sunset, or a restorative yoga class, a trip to the tide pools, a visit to the skate park, or simply a slow afternoon by the pool or journaling under a palm tree. You might even find yourself giving back—leading games for local kids, painting murals, or planting mangrove trees.
Evenings are a time to gather, reflect, and celebrate. We’ll often meet on the beach for sunset and devotionals before enjoying a family-style dinner filled with laughter, good conversation, and community. Some nights bring campfires, stargazing, or a surprise dessert. Every day holds its own surprises, but the through line is always the same: growth, connection, and joy—on the board and off.

Give yourself permission to turn off the notifications as you immerse yourself in this pristine wonderland of palm fringed beaches and wild jungle waterfalls. Leave behind what doesn’t serve you and indulge your senses outdoors with fresh air, plenty of sun along with the sights and sounds of nature.

From mental health to physical strength, movement has a myriad of benefits for the mind, body, and soul, and let’s face it, most of us don’t do enough of it. While we definitely keep things moving, we do it in a way that feels natural and fun rather than forced and exhaustive.

We prefer uncrowded, consistent, pristine waves that can be enjoyed by everyone, so surfers of all levels from beginner to experienced are always welcome.

Our surf camps and retreats are all-inclusive meaning you’ll have unlimited access to the waves along with equipment including a great selection of boards.
